Placekicker Sandro DeAngelis, 24, split the uprights again yesterday, signing a multi-year contract extension with the Stampeders.

The Nebraska product, a native of Niagara Falls, Ont., is 8-for-8 booting field goals in his rookie season after a 6-for-6 pre-season effort.

Six-year veteran non-import right tackle Jeff Pilon, 29, also inked a multi-year extension.

Coach Tom Higgins said the signings promote the new ownership's stability.

"It's a commitment we've made long-term and any time we can get some good athletes and have them feeling it's a two-way street -- they want to be here and we want them here -- it bodes well for us in the long run," he said.

Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

EXTRA POINTS: The Stamps are looking at former Arizona Cardinals DB Coby Reinhart ... As of yesterday afternoon, 1,000 white tickets remained for tomorrow night's game... McMahon Stadium and its concessions will open 90 minutes prior to game time to accommodate the crowd expected to exceed 35,000.
