Some familiar faces will be staring back at Seth Dittman as he tries for redemption. And the Calgary Stampeders offensive lineman is anxious to face the team that traded him in the off-season. He also wants to make up for the heartbreaking loss in Ottawa earlier this season.
After seeing them up close, Dittman said he should have figured out the nuances and dirty tricks the Renegades play.
"I prepared myself a bit better this time," said Dittman. "At game time, it's always intense if the guy across from you is a good friend or a mortal enemy."
Dittman, an import, was part of the controversial eight-player trade that also brought John Grace to the Stamps.
In his return to Ottawa, Dittman and the offensive line didn't allow a sack but because the team lost, he won't chalk it up to a moral victory.
"That was a tough one," he said. "The wins have been hard to come by this year. To come as close as we did in Ottawa, that sticks in our craw."
