Emmanuel Arceneaux racked up 145 receiving yards and three touchdowns as host BC avenged a Week 2 loss to Montreal while extending its recent home dominance over the Alouettes.

Arceneaux had touchdown catches of 35, 10 and 27 yards as the Lions (2-2) dominated Montreal from the outset. Kevin Glenn threw for 301 yards and two touchdowns in just three quarters while John Beck added 72 yards and a pair of scores in relief.

Troy Smith was 5-of-17 for 45 yards before being pulled in the fourth quarter for the Alouettes (1-3), who defeated the Lions 24-9 earlier this month in Montreal. Brandon Whitaker was the lone offensive standout with 11 carries for 65 yards in defeat.

After Paul McCallum's 30-yard field goal opened the scoring at 3:15, the Lions extended the lead less than four minutes later as Arceneaux hauled in Glenn's pass over Montreal cornerback Billy Parker at the 3-yard line before trotting into the end zone. Montreal countered with a 42-yard Sean Whyte field goal, but McCallum hit a 16-yarder and Travis Partridge punched it in from a yard out with 1:29 left in the half to send BC into the break ahead 20-3.

Arceneaux made it a rout with eight minutes left in the third quarter, elevating over Jerald Brown and corralling a Glenn pass 15 yards deep in the end zone. Arceneaux added to his career night by beating a pair of Montreal defenders for a 27-yard TD catch early in the fourth, and Andrew Harris added a 13-yard TD grab from Beck following a Ryan Phillips interception on Montreal's first play of the ensuing drive.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Lions have outscored the Alouettes 163-30 in their previous four meetings at BC Place Stadium. ... Glenn's 16-yard first-quarter completion to Courtney Taylor moved him over 40,000 passing yards for his CFL career. ... Smith completed 2-of-10 passes for nine yards in the opening half.
