The past three teams that have hosted the Grey Cup have won it on their own turf.

So, no pressure, boys.

That's what will be mentioned over and over on the left coast this season as the B.C. Lions attempt to claw their way out of a rough-and-tumble West Division to host -- and win -- their second championship match in the past four years.

The Lions drilled the Bombers in 2011's title game at B.C. Place, but getting back to the big game in their own barn this year is not going to be an easy task, considering they have to topple Saskatchewan and Calgary along the way.

The good news for Lions fans is that their team has made the playoffs 17 years in a row, which is an impressive feat even in an eight- or nine-team league. They should have no trouble making it 18 straight years, especially with Edmonton and Winnipeg in their division.
