VANCOUVER - The B.C. Lions Football Club is mourning after team athletic therapist Bill Reichelt lost his son in a car accident Saturday night, the organization said in a statement.
“The Reichelt family thanks those who are supporting them during this difficult period and ask that their privacy be respected at this time,” a spokesman said in the statement.
The Langley, B.C., teen was known as an avid golfer with college sports aspirations and a volunteer game day assistant for the B.C. Lions since 2005. He graduated from Brookswood Secondary School in June.
