Signing with B.C. after being released by the reigning Grey Cup-champions Calgary Stampeders, the 33-year-old linebacker knows what it takes to win it all.

24 hours: In B.C.'s win against Montreal this season, you had seven tackles, two sacks, and the defensive player of the week award. Would you say that's your best game this season?

JJ: I'd like to think so. They present a lot of challenges and we were up to the challenge and we have to be sound this week.

24: What positive aspect of that game can you take with you to this Sunday's game?

JJ: I didn't hesitate. On the run, I didn't hesitate. Our game plan was simple, similar to what it is this week. It allows us to play fast, which is always a plus.

24: Having played six seasons in the CFL, what's your favourite moment in this league so far?

JJ: Grey Cup. I was blessed to have the opportunity to play in the Grey Cup twice, once with B.C. in '04 and against last year with Calgary, and have the opportunity to win the Grey Cup. There's nothing like it.

24: Did the possibility of playing your former team, Calgary, in their hometown in the finals cross your mind at all this week?

JJ: I'm not even concerned about what happens in the Western side of the playoffs. We have to get it done on our part as far as coming out of Montreal with a win.

Do you think Commonwealth Stadium's move to artificial turf is good for the Eskimos?
  Yes, easier to maintain
  No, grass is better
  Unsure of difference
