After playing college football for Cincinnati, the defensive back had stints in the NFL and Arena Football before signing with the Lions as a free agent in 2006.

24 hours: You majored in criminal justice in university. What would you be doing if you weren’t in football?

#27 LaVar Glover: The last two years I've been developing a youth program working with teenage foster kids, and kids that's been involved with juvenile court. I would just be doing my part in the community.

24: There's already some trash talking going on with Hamilton. Who's the best trash talker on this team?

#27: It's a toss up between myself and Aaron Hunt. Aaron might not talk too much on the field, but off the field, he'll eat you up. I'm more the on-the-field guy. Paris Jackson too. He just gets so mad, he gets so angry. Me, I can smile afterwards. Paris just gets all emotional and everything.

24: How do you prepare mentally for big games?

#27: I just imagine myself making big plays. It’s hard not to get up for this game. If you can’t get up for this game, something’s wrong.

24: You got demoted to the practice roster for much of this season. Was that an eye opener?

#27: It was challenging at times, but the true test of character is not when things are going good, but when things are going bad. I took it as an opportunity to grow.
