After a strong showing Friday, the B.C. Lions are being rewarded for their success.

Slotback Paris Jackson was named yesterday as the Gibson's Finest CFL Canadian Player of the Week - his second such win this season.

The 26-year-old Vancouver native scored two touchdowns, while leading the team with six catches for 122 yards in a 36-28 comeback win against the Toronto Argonauts.

Jackson scored a 35-yard touchdown late in the third quarter, while his five-yarder in the fourth helped initiate a 22-point final frame.

His longest reception of the night was a 57-yard catch.

Jackson's first award this year was in week three when he made nine catches for 126 yards and one TD.

The seven-year Lion is second in the league in receiving yards (530), catches (39), and touchdowns (5).
