The B.C. Lions' training camp got Quick and Proud on Tuesday.

When the black and orange assemble in Abbotsford on Sunday, legendary linebacker James "Quick" Parker and Carl "the flag waver" Kidd will be among the temporary coaches assisting Wally Buono's staff.

Kidd, who won Grey Cups with B.C. in 2000 and 2006, will work with nickel backs Jerome Dennis and B.J. Tucker. CFL single-season sack king Parker, a 2001 Canadian football hall of famer, will assist defensive line coach Mike Roach.

On Monday, B.C. signed 2009 draftees linebacker James Yurichuk, receiver Matt Carter, offensive lineman Matt Morencie, defensive back Tang Bacheyie and defensive lineman Jonathan Pierre-Etienne.

The three-day rookie camp begins Thursday at Mouat Secondary.
