Former Blue Bomber, Tiger-Cat and Alouette O'Neil Wilson is the latest addition to the B.C. Lions' receiving corps. His one-handed touchdown catch against the Toronto Argonauts a week ago was the highlight of B.C.'s win.

24 hours: Last week was like a homecoming, your hometown is Scarborough. What was it like to excel in front of friends and family?

#88 O'Neil Wilson: "It's always a good feeling first of all to come home and see friends and family and get a home cooked meal before the game. You don't get a chance to do that very often."

24: On your former teams, how did those teams, both offensively and defensively, view the Lions?

#88: "Oh, it was always hard to get a win from them especially on their home field. I was at Montreal and I did not get a win against the Lions. They're always respected and you have to bring your A game to play against them."

24: Who was your favourite receiver growing up??

#88: "Jerry Rice, no one else but Jerry Rice."

24: The number 88 jersey, was that your choice?

#88: "That was from a best friend of mine who died. If I wear the number I feel like I'm bringing a piece of him of with me when I play. He was also a wide receiver and from when we were young we just grew up together and always played wide receiver together, he was always in the same huddle I was in. He went to Valley City State North Dakota to play football and he got in a car accident. Duane Shepherd. a great guy, great player. Godfather of my son."
