The B.C. Lions made a surprise appearance at W.J. Mouat secondary school's gymnasium yesterday morning to avoid the lousy weather in Abbotsford.

The Lions also cancelled their afternoon training camp session on what was supposed to be the fourth day of twice daily practices.

Jason Clermont, Jason Pottinger, Kelly Bates, Ian Smart and Adam Nicolson took advantage of the afternoon off to appear at Abbotsford Tim Hortons to benefit the donut giant's annual camp day fundraiser.

Bad news for the Leos. The forecast indicates an inch of rain could fall in Abbotsford today.

Wide receiver Paris Jackson reported on Tuesday, after attending a funeral in the U.S.

Newcomers Justin Shaw (hamstring), Ben Wilson (knee) and Andrew Jones (knee) were sidelined.
