Kendrick Jones got a 2006 Grey Cup ring three weeks ago.

Now he's looking for another team.

The import wide receiver, who caught two passes in the championship win over The Montreal Alouettes, was one of four players cut by B.C. Lions' head coach and general manager Wally Buono on Saturday.

Chilliwack-born slotback Mike Lindstrom, a fifth-round draft pick last year from University of B.C., was the other offensive castaway. Lindstrom didn't make the trip to Edmonton for Thursday's 18-12 loss to the host Eskimos.

Defensive backs Lionell Green and Konrad Wasiela were the others who got their pink slips from the orange and black. Green was cut last year but rejoined the club's practice roster. Richmond's Wasiela was an undrafted free agent signee. They were the odd men out of one the Canadian Football League's deepest secondary.

Lions begin their defence of the Grey Cup on the road Thursday against the Toronto Argonauts. Their home opener is July 6 against Edmonton.
