Tonight's the last chance for B.C. Lions' newcomers to prove they deserve to be on the club's roster after Saturday.

The Lions visit the Edmonton Eskimos in Commonwealth Stadium tonight for their second and final CFL exhibition game. It'll be the first time head coach and general manager Wally Buono gazes across the field to see former offensive coordinator Jacques Chapdelaine on the opposing sidelines. Chapdelaine left the Grey Cup champions to join the last-place Eskimos. Dan Dorazio and Steff Kruck are sharing Leos' offensive coordination duties.

Tonight's 6 p.m. kickoff is on Team 1040 and team1040.ca. There is no broadcast.

Buono must pare B.C.'s 60-man training camp roster down to 46 players plus a seven-man practice squad on Saturday to meet league requirements.

Regular season begins June 28 against the Toronto Argonauts. The home opener is July 6 against Edmonton.
