And then there were two.

Canadian Ricky Foley and import Derek Wake are the last challengers at the B.C. Lions' training camp to replace defensive lineman Chris Wilson.

Wilson left the Grey Cup champions to sign with the NFL's Washington Redskins. Lions cut southern imports Eugene Kwarteng (Louisiana-Lafayette) and Larry McSwain (Alabama-Birmingham) from the defensive line yesterday.

Also sent packing by B.C. were: Defensive backs Matt Griebel and Brandon Payne; receivers Emanuel Hassell and Lance Johnson; linebacker Ronald Ringgold and quarterback Kendrick Dozier.

Foley was a B.C. draft pick in 2006. Wake is a former Penn State Nittany Lion who signed with the New York Giants in 2005 but was released last December.

Training camp continues today. The Lions host the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Friday for their only home exhibition game.
