B.C. Lions added defensive lineman Larry McSwain from University of Alabama-Birmingham a day after cutting Wyatt Gayer.

McSwain is jockeying to succeed defensive end Chris Wilson, who was signed in the off-season by Washington Redskins.

Ex-University of B.C. running back Chris Czieski became the second cut of camp, which started Monday.

Joining offensive guard Sherko Haji-Rasouli among the injured were defensive lineman Jason Ward (foot), defensive back Bo Smith (hamstring), and offensive lineman Kyle Kirkwood (knee), B.C.'s sixth pick in the 2007 draft from Ottawa.

Camp continues in Abbotsford.
