B.C. Lions put their 2006 Grey Cup triumph behind them last night when rings were presented to the champions at a ceremony in Coquitlam's Boulevard Casino.

The Leos go to work this morning at Abbotsford's Rotary Stadium to begin their quest for a berth in the Nov. 25 Grey Cup game in Toronto.

The club lists 78 players on its training camp depth chart. Deadline for the 46-man regular season roster and seven-player practice squad is June 23.

Ricky Foley, a first round draft pick in 2006 from York University, is aiming to fill the DE position vacated by Chris Wilson, who went to the NFL's Washington Redskins.

The right offensive guard spot is Sherko Haji-Rasouli's after Bobby Singh was cast off by coach Wally Buono in the wake of left tackle Rob Murphy's new contract.

Wide receiver Tony Simmons is back for a third try after his first two Lions' seasons were ruined by serious knee injuries. Texan pivot Kendrick Dozier survived rookie camp to become B.C.'s fourth quarterback.
