B.C. Lions dominated the Canadian Football League's all-star list announced yesterday.

But the players really just want to dominate the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Scotiabank West Championship.

Geroy Simon was the only unanimous decision after catching 15 touchdowns and registering 1,856 receiving yards. It was his third all-star citation. Left tackle and CFL rookie Rob Murphy was the only other Lion honoured on offence.

Brent Johnson, Murphy's college teammate at Ohio, was among five Lions named defensive all-stars. He's joined by fellow lineman Tyrone Williams, veteran safety Barron Miles, linebacker Otis Floyd and defensive back Korey Banks.

Of the 27 players named all-stars, 18 are on West division teams. Edmonton Eskimos' quarterback Ricky Ray was the league's all-star pivot despite the 2005 Grey Cup champs' failure to make the playoffs.

Lions have sold more than 39,000 tickets for Sunday's 1 p.m. kickoff at B.C. Place stadium. More level four sections have been opened to accommodate a large contingent of Saskatchewan fans. Riders' mascot Gainer the Gopher will be allowed to roam the sidelines.
