Johnson ready for more

B.C. Lions' defensive end Brent Johnson is going to Winnipeg next week.

He wants the rest of his teammates to join him there to play one more game.

The West nominee for most outstanding Canadian and most outstanding defensive player was the CFL's regular season sack king again in 2006. He hopes to record his first post-season sack Sunday on the 'Riders' mobile quarterback Kerry Joseph.

Johnson says the Riders' three-game winning streak against the Lions is irrelevant.

"We know they're inexperienced in big playoff games," Johnson told 24 hours. "They've lost here before."

Johnson hopes Lions' fans turn out in orange and in abundance to drown out the throngs of green-clad Saskatchewan fans expected under the dome.

"Any time you can play at home in such a crucial game, the crowd plays a factor," Johnson said.
