Dave Dickenson is ready to start the Scotiabank West Championship against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday.

Today, the B.C. Lions' quarterback starts 24 hours' podcast series counting down to the big game at B.C. Place Stadium.

Dickenson is under pressure to lead the Lions to victory over the 'Riders, who beat B.C. in three of four regular season meetings.

"Defensively they're a good unit [with] great communication, they run a real tight system and have a good front," Dickenson told 24 hours.

"Offensively they're very dangerous with Kerry Joseph."

The winner goes to Nov. 19's Grey Cup in Winnipeg.

The loser doesn't play until next June.

"For me the opportunities are going to be few and far between as (my) career winds down." For more from Dickenson, go to 24hourspodcast.com
