Offensive lineman Sherko Haji-Rasouli will start again for Bobby Singh when the B.C. Lions resume the Canadian Football League season Friday.
Singh continues to recover from the shoulder muscle tear that sidelined him from B.C.'s Aug. 18 win over the Edmonton Eskimos. He won't make the trip to Montreal.
"As a football player, you want to be on the field and contributing to the team," Haji-Rasouli said. "As far as Bobby goes, he's a big loss for the team. He's our offensive-line leader."
Haji-Rasouli made his first 2006 start in Toronto, where he grew up. He'll start at Molson Stadium against the Alouettes, for whom he played in 2003 and 2004.
The division leaders meet Friday at 4:30 p.m. PDT. The 7-3 Lions are coming off their first bye week of the season with a five-game winning streak. Alouettes opened with seven straight wins but dropped to 7-3 with last Thursday's loss to the Calgary Stampeders.
