Lions' kicker Paul McCallum, in his 14th CFL season, played jr. football with the Surrey Rams and tried to succeed Lui Passaglia in the early 1990s.

24 hours: Monday you put a hamster in Carl Kidd's locker as revenge for an earlier prank. Why the rodent?

#4 Paul McCallum: "We were sitting around somewhere and he made the mistake of telling me what his fears were. After I got the water dumped on me I just jumped in the truck, went to a local pet store and put it in his locker."

24: You can only do pranks like this when you're winning.

#4: "The team's got a pretty good, loose atmosphere right now."

24: Earlier in your career you had to do other things to pay the bills.

#4: "I used to drive the HandyDART buses from 5 a.m. until 11:30 or 12, come here and practice with the Lions, go home have dinner and practice with the Surrey Rams at night."
