- The Argos honoured their 1983 Grey Cup team at halftime on Turn Back Time night. Included in the presentation were QB Condredge Holloway and WR Terry Greer, who are the Argos' nominees in the greatest quarterback/ receiver connections in CFL history competition.

- OL Cliff Washburn, signed earlier this month, made his CFL debut last night, starting in place of injured RT Jerome Davis (foot).

- Another scratch was injured Argos DB Kenny Wheaton. He was replaced by Khalil Carter.

- The Argos could have gone the entire first half without scoring a point. However, the Lions declined a no-yards penalty on a punt into the end zone, putting the Argos on the board in the second quarter.

---

- Argos DB Clifford Ivory, back after serving a one-game suspension last week in Regina, made his presence felt early in the first quarter, leaping to tip a Dave Dickenson pass to himself and then running 52 yards for a huge interception return.

- The next play, however, Argos QB Damon Allen served up his first interception of the season, being picked off by Korey Banks.

- Sean Bennett made his first reception as an Argo a beauty, putting a great move on a defender to continue a 41-yard play.
