B.C. Lions will try to exact revenge against Jason Maas when the Hamilton Tiger-Cats travel to B.C. Place Stadium for the Lions' June 16 home opener.

It's the first of six Friday night games. The other three home matches are Saturday nights.

Quarterback Maas engineered the Edmonton Eskimos' Western final win over the host Lions on Nov. 20. Edmonton returned a week later to beat the Montreal Alouettes in a Grey Cup overtime thriller. Maas was traded to Hamilton after the season in a controversial trade that was negotiated well before the Grey Cup.

Eskimos return June 30 and Oct. 21. The regular season schedule ends with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Oct. 28. Lions host defending Eastern champion Montreal Alouettes on July 14.

Lions face the Stampeders in pre-season, June 2 at home and June 8 in Calgary. B.C.'s training camp site is expected to be named this week. Kamloops, Simon Fraser University and 2005 host Chilliwack are the shortlisted locations. The 94th Grey Cup will be held in Winnipeg Nov. 19.
