As someone who toiled in football’s trenches, Bill Frank would often be overshadowed by the many high-profiled players around him.

For those in the know, they always knew of Frank’s presence and what he meant on every snap of the ball.

Sadly, this Hall of Fame offensive lineman has passed away, a loss that resonates with every player Frank touched during his distinguished days as an Argonaut.

Frank was 76, peacefully passing away in his sleep at his home in White Rock, B.C.

“Bill was the kind of guy you wanted on your side,’’ said Pete Martin, Frank’s former teammate. “Bill played the game at 280 pounds and, at that time, he was one of the biggest players on the field.
