Brandon Underwood prefers to move forward in life, rather than look back and relive moments that are both good and bad, exhilarating and embarrassing.

Like any pigskin player looking to reinvigorate his career, Underwood has turned to the Argos and the CFL, that long-established athletic bastion of second chances. His first foray into three-down football would unfold under blue skies in central Florida on Sunday, during Day 1 of the Argos three-day mini-camp.

There’s baggage, which does not make Underwood unique, there’s a passion and there’s an opportunity that awaits in Argoland, where the entire defence is basically undergoing an overhaul in virtually all facets, personnel and philosophy.

Underwood is a defensive back, long and athletic, experienced and versatile to line up at corner, halfback or safety.
