The Ottawa RedBlacks will come into focus on Monday when they select 24 players through the CFL’s expansion draft.

The CFL, not wanting to damage relationships between players and management, decided not to make each team’s protected list public.

Each team knows who it protected, but that’s it. Only the Redblacks have seen all eight lists, and they’ve spent the past seven days going over those lists and checking them twice.

One thing going against the RedBlacks is the fact there are so many potential free agents out there. The other eight teams took advantage of that loophole, letting as many players play out their option years as possible.

Each team will lose two Canadians and one import on Monday, and the Redblacks will finally start to look like a real team.

Here is a look at who some of those players might be, but keep in mind some of these players could have been protected by their respective team:
