A look at the finalists for the 2013 CFL Awards:

Most Outstanding Player

Jon Cornish (CGY) | Ricky Ray (TOR)

  • Ray set the league record for completion percentage, but he didn't play nearly enough games. That will hurt him with voters. Cornish had 1,813 rushing yards, the fourth most in league history, and should win.

Most Outstanding Defensive Player

Charleston Hughes (CGY) | Chip Cox (MTL)

  • This should be Cox in a landslide. He led the league in tackles, was fourth in sacks as a strong-side linebacker and tied for sixth with four interceptions. Hughes had a league-best 18 sacks, but that won't be enough.
