The CFL trade deadline is on Wednesday, which you might not be aware of because there is no 12-hour television program planned to analyze 24 deals involving 49 players.

The reason the CFL trade deadline is usually a non-event is because there are only eight teams in the league, 75% of them make the playoffs and usually 100% of them are still in the hunt for a post-season berth at this time of year.

But let's suspend reality for a second and have a little fun. If contracts didn't matter and teams would be willing to trade anyone, which player would each team need to put it over the hump and make it good enough to win the Grey Cup?

Here are the deadline deals we think each team would love to make if we were living in CFL fantasy land, highlighting the areas in which they are deficient heading into the stretch drive.
