2012 a banner year for CFL

The CFL enjoyed another banner year in 2012. Attendance increased, TV ratings were up, and the product on the field provided plenty of thrilling moments. There was a 3% increase in scoring, and 56% of games were decided in the final three minutes. Here is a look at the top 10 CFL stories (of the non-Bomber variety) from 2012. 10. FAREWELL, OLD FRIEND The Hamilton Tiger-Cats played the final game at historic Ivor Wynne Stadium on Oct. 27, beating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to send the 85-year-old park out in style. Demolition crews started tearing down the stadium in mid-December, and, if all goes to plan, the Tabbies will play in Guelph in 2013 before returning to a new park on the Ivor Wynne site in 2014.
