HEAD-TO-HEAD

This is the first meeting between the clubs this season, and they will face each other next Saturday back in Toronto. The Argos are 7-3 in the past 10 outings against the Stamps, but the teams split last season with each winning on their home turf.

KEY STAT

13 -- The number of CFL passes Argos starting quarterback Cody Pickett has thrown in his career, all last week in a mop-up role against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

KEY MATCHUP

Stamps WR Ken-Yon Rambo vs. Argos CB Byron Parker -- The Stamps veteran leads the CFL is receiving yardage and Parker can be quite the pickoff specialist.

KEYS TO VICTORY

1. Pickett pressure -- With the Argos giving QB Cody Pickett his first CFL start, the Stamps defence will want to get in his face and force some errant passes. The Stamps were burned earlier this season by Bombers QB Ryan Dinwiddie, who won his first regular-season start against the Stamps.

2. Pick up the blitz -- New Argonauts head coach Don Matthews loves to send the house, so the Stamps running backs and slotbacks will need to read the defence and make sure QB Henry Burris has time.

3. Pick on the new guys -- The Argos are using several newcomers, including safety Will Poole, defensive lineman Walter Curry and left guard Mark Dewit, a former Calgary Dino. The Stamps need to take advantage of the green players.

ROSTER MOVES

Calgary -- DB Milton Collins (concussion) is out and will be replaced by DB Keon Raymond. DB Julian Battle (heel) is also likely to sit, which forces DB Calvin Bannister back into the lineup.

Toronto -- The biggest change is Cody Pickett taking over at quarterback for Kerry Joseph. LG Jude St. John is out and will be replaced by rookie Mark Dewit. Safety Kenny Wheaton (shoulder) is also out and will be replaced by Will Poole.
