O.J. Simpson argues for retrial

O.J. Simpson will be back in court this week.
The jailed former NFL player will take the stand in a Las Vegas court in a bid to convince a judge to grant him a retrial over his conviction for kidnapping and armed robbery.
Simpson was sentenced to nine to 33 years behind bars following his 2008 conviction for masterminding a heist on two sports memorabilia dealers' hotel room in 2007.
He previously lost an appeal against his conviction, but filed new legal papers last year requesting a retrial over allegations he was badly represented by his former lawyer.
Simpson, 65, will appear in court Monday for the start of a five-day hearing to argue his case, in which the former actor is expected to take the stand to testify against his ex-legal team.
