Ottawa to host 100th figure skating championship

OTTAWA - When Skate Canada was looking for a landing spot for the 2014 Canadian figure skating championships, Ottawa made sense in a lot of ways.
Ottawa hosted the first national event at the Minto Skating Club and it will host the 100th, with the best figure skaters from across the country lacing them up at Scotiabank Place Jan. 9-15, 2014.
