Kerrigan's brother to be evaluated

Former Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan's brother has been ordered to undergo a mental health examination amid allegations he assaulted his father moments before the 70-year-old dropped dead on Sunday.

Mark Kerrigan will undergo testing at the Bridgewater State Hospital, a spokesperson for Middlesex District Attorney in Massachusetts tells RadarOnline.com.

He was arrested after Daniel Kerrigan was found unconscious in the kitchen of the family's home in Stoneham, Mass. on Sunday.

The 45-year-old, who previously served in the U.S. Army, pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on an elderly person and causing serious bodily injury.

His lawyer said in court her client was undergoing therapy and taking prescription medication for post-traumatic stress.
