Words weren't necessary when the pictures told the tale.

The huge welt under the left eye (maybe it was a blood pocket) of James Te Huna and the frown post-fight said all that needed to be said as Nate Marquardt defeated Te Huna by arm bar at 4:34 of the first round in the final fight at UFC Fight Night 43 at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.

After losing his last three fights as a welterweight, Marquardt says getting back to middleweight was the best thing for him.

"I think it was obvious that (welterweight) wasn't working out for me," Marquardt said post-fight. "I believe God was guiding me back to 185 (lbs.). This is where I belong. I made some bad choices going down to welterweight."

His last victory, oddly enough, came as a middleweight when he KO'd Tyron Woodley in the fourth round of a Strikeforce event on July 14, 2012.
