There has been no shortage of criticism of Tito Ortiz’s decision to return to MMA at Bellator 120 later this month in Memphis, Tenn.

Ortiz is 39-years-old and, while he’s certainly one of the most important figures in the rise of MMA in the mid-2000s, his prime was an awfully long time ago.

He has been out of the fight game for almost two years and his body has gone through several major surgeries. Understandably, there were a lot of fight fans who wanted to see Ortiz walk away without doing any more damage to his body.

In an interview with MMAFighting.com this week, Ortiz addressed the concerns.
