If Mark (The Super Samoan) Hunt had his way, he wouldn’t be stepping inside the octagon with teammate Antonio (Bigfoot) Silva.

The hard-hitting heavyweights both train under the American Top Team banner and have trained together in the past.

Of course, just because he would have preferred to face a different opponent, it doesn’t mean Hunt is torn up about fighting Silva. A victory over the No. 4 ranked heavyweight will secure the 2001 K-1 world grand prix champion a spot in the top 10.

Hunt said he isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to knock out one of the best fighters on the planet.

“I did ask for someone else, but I’m just an employee of the UFC — and that’s it,” Hunt told QMI Agency during a phone interview. “It’s just business and our job. That’s all it is."
