Georges (Rush) St. Pierre is on the cusp of establishing a trio of new UFC records.

The welterweight titleholder will face No. 1 contender Johny (Bigg Rigg) Hendricks in the main event of UFC 167 in Las Vegas Saturday. Should he get past the two-time NCAA Division I wrestling champ, he will further etch his name in the history books.

First and foremost, a victory will bump St. Pierre’s total under the UFC banner to 19. The Montreal native is currently tied at 18 with former 170-pound kingpin Matt Hughes.

A win will also mark St. Pierre’s 12th in UFC title fights, which will give him the edge over Anderson Silva’s record of 11.
