Once the dust has settled following their rubber match at UFC 166 in Houston this Saturday, Cain Velasquez and Junior (Cigano) dos Santos will forever be linked.

Though both fighters have held the UFC heavyweight championship — not to mention exchanged the title with one another — their respective legacies will at least partly be defined by their intense rivalry. Should the third fight deliver the goods, Velasquez vs. dos Santos could go down as the greatest trilogy in heavyweight MMA history.

Though there is more than just the title at stake, Velasquez views the bout as just another trip to the octagon.

“I’m just looking at this as a normal fight,” Velasquez told QMI Agency during a phone interview. “Obviously I just want to go out there and win all of my fights."
