Myles (Fury) Jury had been waiting for the chance to show off his striking abilities on the biggest stage in mixed martial arts.

Since joining the UFC roster last year, The Ultimate Fighter 15 cast member's stellar grappling game has been on full display. After submitting Chris Saunders in his official debut, Jury dominated Michael Johnson en route to a unanimous-decision victory in December.

Luckily for Jury, the third time proved to be a charm.

At UFC on FOX 7 in April, the Alliance MMA fighter was paired up with Ramsey Nijem. After utilizing his takedowns and top game to secure the first round, Jury found the opportunity he'd been looking for. As Nijem charged with punches, Jury came over the top with a vicious right hook that flattened the TUF 13 finalist.

"This thing is, I'm a great striker," Jury told QMI Agency during a phone interview. "A lot of people who fight me, just try to get in my face and bully me, but it plays into my game plan."
