Ivan (Pride of El Salvador) Menjivar still has his sight set on Norifumi (Kid) Yamamoto.

The MMA legends were expected to meet on the preliminary card of UFC 165 in Toronto Sept. 21, but the Japanese bantamweight bowed out due to an undisclosed injury.

With Yamamoto on the sidelines, Menjivar will now battle Bellator veteran Wilson Reis.

Though the Salvadoran-Canadian is not looking past Reis, he said he hopes UFC officials will book him opposite Yamamoto in the near future.
