Following four straight losses, Andrei (The Pit Bull) Arlovski was about to walk away from mixed martial arts.

The former UFC heavyweight champion's woes first began when he met Fedor Emelianenko at Affliction: Day of Reckoning in early 2009. After three minutes of out-striking the Russian MMA legend, Arlovski leapt into an ill-fated flying knee attempt. Emelianenko timed a huge haymaker, swatting Arlovski out of the air like a fly and knocking him out cold.

After suffering a 22-second TKO defeat to then-undefeated prospect Brett Rogers in his subsequent outing, Arlovski dropped a unanimous decision to Antonio Silva. He pushed his losing skid to four straight in early 2011, getting viciously knocked out by Sergei Kharitonov.
