Beezer: St. Pierre looks tapped out
Steve Buffery can't help but say what's on his mind
By STEVE BUFFERY, QMI Agency

Georges St. Pierre is in danger of hanging around too long and getting hurt or hurting his legacy, the Beezer says. (Martin Chevalier/QMI AGENCY)

Watched Georges St. Pierre beat Crazy Nick Diaz on Saturday night, and it seems to me — and I know his fans are going to egg my house for this — that it’s time GSP packed it in. His body appears to be breaking down at regular intervals and he seems to be in the UFC more for a payday and to earn a safe win, than to really mix it up. His past few fights have been hot and cold, his past six wins coming via decision. He’s 32 in May, and what happens to aging fighters when they hang on too long? They get hurt and end up damaged goods.

Are you surprised Don Cherry backed Daniel Alfredsson's comments?
  Yes.
  No.
It's Don Cherry - who knows what he will say.
  Not sure.
