The Ultimate Fighter appears to be borrowing a page from Big Brother.

For the first time ever, women fighters will be featured on TUF. But they won't be alone.

The upcoming season of the popular reality series will feature male and female bantamweight fighters living under the same roof.

In another TUF first, the upcoming season will also see women coaches — UFC women's 135-pound champ (Rowdy) Ronda Rousey and the winner of the upcoming bout between Miesha (Cupcake) Tate and Cat (Alpha) Zingano, who meet on the undercard of the TUF 17 Finale in Vegas April 13. Rousey will then defend her title against the Tate-Zingano winner at a later event.

Though this marks another step forward for women's MMA, it could also play out in a number of unsavoury ways.
