'Retired' Nick Diaz asks Georges St. Pierre for a rematch
After saying he was tired of all the beatings, Diaz bizarrely asks GSP for another go

According to Nick Diaz, he has retired from mixed martial arts. He is tired of all the beatings.

But, oh yeah, he would definitely take a rematch with Georges St. Pierre, since he can definitely win.

Maybe another fight with Carlos Condit makes sense. He also has a way better shot against Anderson Silva, he says, than St. Pierre does.

And just like that, any semblance of humility Diaz showed in the cage from his one-sided unanimous-decision loss to St. Pierre at UFC 158 in Montreal on Saturday night evaporated like bong water at the post-fight press conference.

With the bout over, Diaz initially opted to pass on the presser, citing he had fulfilled his obligations. However, roughly 35 minutes in, Diaz quietly joined the proceedings. What followed was a series of classic Diaz sound bites, where he discussed walking away from MMA, while simultaneously lobbying for big fights.

“I just feel like I’ve fought everybody that I’ve set out to fight,” Diaz said.

Would Patrick Roy make a good coach for the Colorado Avalanche?
