In Nick Diaz’s world, he’s the hero MMA fans deserve.

During a recent conference call to promote his bout with welterweight champion Georges (Rush) St. Pierre at UFC 158 in Montreal on March 16, Diaz lashed out at the way he's been portrayed leading up to the fight.

Diaz feels he’s been hyped as a disrespectful competitor who deserves to be beat down. However, in his mind, he’s the misunderstood hero, here to save MMA from boring wrestlers.

“I just don’t like that I’ve been made out to be this evil person that needs to be conquered,” a fired up Diaz said. “What the f---? If anything, I’m the superhero coming in with the anti-bulls---. Give me a f---ing break. Are you seriously going to stick to the bulls--- forever? This is mixed martial arts, ladies and gentlemen. This is some boring a-- s--- we’re watching lately.
