CALGARY - Fight fans still frothing at the mouth about the UFC’s lacklustre 2012 Calgary card might have a reason to get very, very excited.

Speaking to reporters after Saturday night’s UFC 156, president Dana White hinted the UFC might be lining up a blockbuster for the organization’s return to Calgary — a blockbuster that could include the biggest star on the UFC roster, Anderson Silva.

“Yeah, I owe Calgary one,” White said.

“I want to go back to Calgary and make that right. Definitely, definitely going back to Calgary. I don’t know when, I don’t have a date or a time or anything, but we’re going to make that right.”

The topic of conversation quickly shifted to middleweight champion Silva’s (33-4-0) next fight, which White confirmed would likely be against up-and-comer Chris Weidman.

Do you think Chad Johnson can still play at a high level in the NFL?
Yes, he is a talented receiver
No, he is too old to play
CFL might be a better option
