Michael Bisping: Vitor Belfort has 'heart of a chicken'

More often than not, when a fighter signs on to face Michael (The Count) Bisping, the trash talk is soon to follow.

The top middleweight has never been one to shy away from exchanging barbs to hype up a bout, meaning his opponents usually have to deal with the mouth before they take on the man.

To no one’s surprise, Bisping’s coming scrap with Vitor (The Phenom) Belfort has been no different.

“I trained hard, I’m the best I’ve ever been, I’m in shape right now, I can go (25 minutes) standing on my head,” Bisping told MMAinterviews.tv. “I don’t think Vitor Belfort can do the same thing and after Round 1 he’s gonna be a walking punching bag and it’s gonna be an easy night for ‘The Count.’

“He has the body of a lion, but the legs of a chicken. He also has the heart of a chicken.”

A 16-year MMA veteran, Belfort has heard it all before. As far as he’s concerned, talk is cheap. All that matters is who gets his hand raised at the end.
