C'mon GSP, let it rip

Sometimes ... just sometimes … it’d be nice if Georges St. Pierre just let loose.

The gentleman champion will be cageside as Carlos Condit takes his place against Nick Diaz in the UFC 143 main event this Saturday.

He will face the winner — who will be crowned UFC interim welterweight champ — sometime late this summer if his injured left knee heals as planned.

And though not exactly trash talking about his hopes to fight Diaz soon, it was a close as St. Pierre gets.

“I don’t truly hate him as a person. I hate what he brings to the sport with the disrespect and the unprofessional things he says and does,” St. Pierre said.

“It is sort of a professional hatred. During UFC 137 (fight week) I felt like I had to walk around Las Vegas with my fists ready (to punch Diaz) because every time I came across him he wanted to fight there and then. Every time the elevator opened (in the hotel) I needed to be ready to fight in case he stepped in. I was on edge all week. This guy is crazy.”

That’s about as close as you’ll ever get to St. Pierre saying he wants to rip off Diaz’s head and spit down his neck.

He talks exactly how he fights.

Overly cautious and every syllable is calculated.

It would be nice to see him just let it rip for once.

Both inside — and outside — the cage.
