UFC's Bisping disciplined

True to his word, UFC boss Dana White has followed through on his vow to discipline fighter Michael Bisping for his unsportsmanlike behaviour Down Under at UFC 127.
After weeks of verbal exchanges between Bisping and American Jorge Rivera leading up to their bout last month, tensions boiled over both in and out of the octagon and the Brit’s actions gave the company a bit of a black eye.
White told MMAFighting.com recently that Bisping missed out on a $250,000 bonus for kneeing Rivera in the face while he was down and for spitting on one of his opponents cornermen after winning the bout.
“Believe me, that hurts worse than anything else that anyone could have done,” White said.
He said he also had a talk with Bisping.
“I let him know exactly how I felt about it and what I expect of him in the future,” White said.
White said it was actually a shame the fight went down the way it did because Bisping and Rivera had a big hand in creating buzz about the event.
The reality is “people were curious and wanted to see” their fight, White said.
The two fighters began feuding after Rivera posted videos on YouTube mocking Bisping.
