UFC president Dana White says he doesn’t plan any additional punishment for top middleweight contender Chael Sonnen — who failed a drug test following his surprising performance in a submission loss to champ Anderson Silva at UFC 117 on Aug. 7. Sonnen, who had elevated levels of testosterone in his system, pointing to steroid use, was fined $2,500 by the California State Athletic Commission and barred from competing for a year.

With Sonnen out of the way, the UFC has moved Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort to the top of the list. Belfort is slated to take on Silva early in the new year.
